You could blow me over with a feather after a lot of hard work and frustration with the US tax system our ebook is finally out.
Come and travel to the mystical Faroe Islands with Mike and I, pack your drone, camera and a good sense of humour. You might need to know how to cook and forecast the weather too. Our ebook is more than a photography guide to the archipelago, its a tale of exploration and adventure in a wild land. It catalogues the highs and lows of our trips, how we found our locations, and survived a visit during a general strike when there was no fresh food to buy or extra fuel to put in our hire car.
The area is home to wildlife you don’t normally manage to get quite so close to. Puffin and arctic tern colonies provide excellent photographic opportunities. The scenery is staggering, a head for heights is desirable, one I’m still trying to develop. We have many stunning photographs to illustrate our story and the legends that abound. The Faroes are an emerging travel destination and we couldn’t find a book to help us navigate the Islands, so we wrote one.
PS Don’t forget your waterproofs.
If you want to purchase a copy to feast on the photogenic landscapes and birds of the Faroes, and support our venture here is the link. It's less than the price of a gin and tonic!
