The information we collect
Membership
If you sign up to our website we collect your name and email. Your details are stored in a secure database with MailChimp. We use these details to send you our newsletter (if you choose this option). We never share, use or process your details in any other way.
Browsing
If you simply wish to browse our website, no personal data is collected by us. Our cookies are purely functional, for example: to check if you have accepted our cookie and privacy policies.
With all cookies on this site personal information is not contained in the cookies, however, it may be possible to use the information in combination with other data to build a personal profile. This is why we secure our site to prevent malicious access.
Social Sharing
If you use the social sharing buttons on our site, some information will be collected by the social platform and their cookies will remain on our website. We use encryption on our website to help prevent access to these cookies.

Newsletters
If you sign up to our newsletter, your information is passed to Mailchimp – which we use to send our emails. Your information is also stored on our website. You can view Mailchimp’s privacy policy here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/
- We will only collect: your first name, last name and email address.
- We will never share your data with any third party unless required to do so by law.
- We do not use your information for any other purpose than sending our newsletter.
- You may opt out of our newsletter at any time using links in the email, or by contacting us direct.
Contact Forms
When you submit information through the contact form it is sent directly to us. This email is only accessed by us. No data is stored on this website or in any intermediary database or software platform.
After responding to the email and resolving the enquiry, the email will be deleted. You are not added to any list or marketing campaign and your data is not retained unless this is explicitly requested by yourself in writing.

How we keep your information secure
Our website uses encryption so that cookies and information entered on forms is secure. This is through an SSL certificate. You can see that our site is secure through your web browser, which will have a padlock or a green ‘SECURE’ message, and will show HTTPS at the beginning of our website address.
- Admin account holders for our website must use strong passwords so that their accounts are secure.
- Our Mailchimp account uses a strong password to keep it secure.
- Your data is never stored by or shared with anyone except where detailed in ‘Who Can See This Information’ above.
- You are entitled to view, amend, or have deleted the personal information that we hold. To do so contact us using the details below.
Sharing your information
We do not share your information with or sell it to third parties.
We will not disclose your information to any third party unless we are required to do so by law. In such cases we will ensure due diligence in releasing only required information, and this only to recognised official parties entitled to require this information under law.

Lingo Design Limited is our website developer. They provide website support to us. As the developer of our site they have access to all data on the site.
The website is built on the Shopify eCommerce platform. As host of our website, Shopify acts as a “data sub-processor”. This is a term used by the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations). This means that Shopify provides our hosting, the space where our website and ecommerce orders are stored, and therefore has access to them.
We are confident that Shopify and Lingo Design Limited abide by the GDPR and treat all our data and that of website users, members and email contacts in strict confidence.
