 An ancient cross somewhat magically appears out of nowhere as you walk towards it. It was probably a marker on an old mediaeval route between Buckfast Abbey and Tavistock Abbey. It is one of my favourite spots on Dartmoor and I had one of my spookiest early morning walks here one day.
